Deakin University’s School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences was recently ranked the #1 sport science school in the world.*  The Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science was the first course to be accredited by Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) in Victoria.  The course gives students access to industry connections and practical experience through learning partnerships with some of Victoria’s top sporting organisations including: the Geelong Cats, Melbourne Boomers, and the Victorian Institute of Sport.  Students learn from the best in the field and have exposure to cutting-edge research that solves real-world problems in exercise, physical activity and sport.   • New Environmental Engineering Course – available from 2018

 

From Trimester 1 2018, a new four-year course will be offered at the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus – Bachelor of Environmental Engineering (Honours) – with special emphasis on the practical application of engineering and scientific principles to produce industry-ready environmental engineers who are immediately employable and capable of adapting to an ever-changing future.  Students will gain a breadth of knowledge across the environmental engineering discipline and the technical skills to develop sustainable engineering solutions to the challenges they face in this field.
